What is your favorite Cold Weather drink?

I bought my first Christmas present this week, less than 8 weeks till Christmas. Sophie will be well on her way to cooking with Paula Deen and her new kids cookbook.

I do have to say that one of my most favorites things about cool weather is warm drinks. I love coffee, loose leaf tea, hot chocolate...and I must say that my most favorite hot chocolate is the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate made at Starbucks. Sounds a bit weird, but let me tell you if you like a little salty with your sweet, i.e. Snickers Bars, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, this drink could become your winter addiction.

What do you drink when it turns cool out?

Hi Tammy...

My favorite cold weather beverage would have to be loose leaf tea. I certainly have enough different flavors...and a HUGE assortment of Tea Cups and Saucers to drink it from.

A good biscotti or scone along with the tea doesn't hurt either.

Jan

As much as I'm not really a coffee drinker, it's my cold weather beverage of choice. Sarah-fied, of course (cream, Splenda, and all the trimmin's!!) I can't ever get Hot chocolate to taste right, but I may have to try that Salted Caramel stuff -- although it would hasten the insulating of my rear that i always tend to do this time of year! :-)

Yes Allison we need to Starbucks together sometime and enjoy the Salted Caramel!! I love the Sarah-fied version of coffee, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her put like 5 splenda's in a cup of coffee ; )

I love the coffee mate creamers at this time of year. Peppermint and the pumpkin pie are my favorites. At night when it starts getting colder I will make myself some coffee and the kids some hot cocoa and we will drink it and play a board game at the table. It makes for a fun and special family evening.

any time of year, but especially when it's cold, I like my doppio macciato. With a little cloud of cinnamon on top :)
