Note from Tammy. . .

Don't know if I figured this out but, I just want to say that you bring tears of joy to my eyes in a very emotional day. My God has given me his touch through you all, you are His face to me. Jack is doing well, me, Tammy, am holding my own, Rob and Elaine are keeping a vigil here and we are all in constant prayer for my Jack. His greatest concern is the big round patch on his chest from the mri is going to hurt when it is taken off. He said he thinks he will leave it on until he dies, I said I think it will fall off long before that...He also woke up this morning and said that he was so lucky that his hospital was so wonderful. I have taken pictures of him with the amazing caregivers that are by our sides, and especially his, joking and playing with him. He did tell me that when I talked to the doctor to tell her he was ready to go home and he didn't want surgery. Bless his heart for his sweetness. I love this ball of sunshine and I appreciate your prayers and outpouring of love for my family.Tammy Marcelain

You all have been in my thoughts and prayers all day today. I've never met Jack, but I know by his parents that he must be one special person. Your faith is an inspiration to me. Please know that many many prayers will be lifted up in the morning for Jack, Dr. Price, and all of the other doctors and nurses attending to him.

God bless,

Dear sweet Tammy and family,
No words can express the emotions that you are going through. Having come through some life issues in the past couple of months, I know that you are afraid of what is around the bend. God will give you every ounce of strength, and he promises to see you through. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I have visited this site very often today, checking for updates. Please know that if you or your family members need any housing in the Dallas area, my mom has offered to open up her home for anyone wishing to stay there. You can contact me for her number. She too expresses her concern and is lifting your family up in prayer. I am going to be praying that Dr. Price's hands be guided by God's angels in the morning. Hang in there Jack! We love you.

Tammy and Rob,
As you pray and lay hands on Jack before the surgery, may you feel the presence of all of us back here in Abilene also praying for you and Jack and the surgeons as well as Sophie and DJ.

Rob, Tammy, Elaine, Tom, DJ, Sophie and Jack:

You have been in our thoughts and prayers since we heard your news. God has his hand in all of this and I know he will continue to watch over you and your sweet baby and take care of your every need. Remember Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him". Everything works together for our good even if we don't understand it. You have our constant prayers, specifically for Dr. Price and for Jack's quick and complete recovery. Much love and prayers and many blessings, James & Teri Boone

Dear Tammy, Rob, DJ, Sophie & Jack,
We wish we were there in person but this will have to do for now. You are so special to us and we love you so much. We are so sorry for all of this pain for your family. We are praying and telling everyone we know (and some we don't) all about it. Saints around the world are lifting you and Jack up. Hugs, hope, & blessings!

Lord God, Pour your Holy Spirit into the body of Jack Marcelain and into the hands of the doctors and nurses. Put a mantle of comfort around Rob & Tammy.Wrap yourself around Sophie & DJ and Tom & Elaine. Heal Jack swiftly & completely. You are a merciful God; your love "endures forever"; You never forsake your people. We need you so much now. Be here. Amen.

"We are hard pressed on every side, but NOT crushed; perplexed but NOT in despair;persecuted but NOT abandoned; struck down but NOT destroyed." 2 Corinthians 4

Dear Rob, Tammy, and Jack (and the rest of the family with you in Dallas!),

Know that you are in our prayers several times a day. Know that there are sooooo many Prayer Warriors out there for all of you!! We told Ashlynn that Jack was sick and she has prayed for him the last two days and said, "Please help Jack to get better." The simple words of a child...

May God encompass you all in His arms and bless you with a sense of His presence and bring you comfort and a continued faith in ALL He can do!!

You two are such examples of servant-spirits! We love you and will be praying for all of you...especially for Jack and Dr. Price and for God's healing hand to be at work in the morning and the days and weeks to come.

I have to share one of my favorite scriptures with you: Jeremiah 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a HOPE and a future."

God will see you through all of this. Rest in His arms! Give Jack a big HUG for us!!

We love you guys!
Gwen White (and Pat and Ashlynn)

Marcelain Family,
I know you don't know who we are (friends of David and Karise) but we are praying for your precious Jack. We too have a Jack who is a twin, so this is very dear to my heart. I just received this email, so I will be up early calling my friends to pray on your behalf. I can't imagine what you're going through, but I do know that God doesn't give us more than we can handle. Our prayers are with you.
