One student brought me the first one and I was hooked!!! I do not htink they are scary- it is much more about the relationships than about the fear factor. I have read the first 3 and I am looking forward to the fourth one over Thanksgiving break!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12438054.post-42696089391618982012008-11-22T00:45:00.000-06:002008-11-22T00:45:00.000-06:00A lot of the home school moms and daughters (16-19...A lot of the home school moms and daughters (16-19yo) have read and really enjoyed them. They are going to go and see the movie tomorrow. I have not read them though so I have no personal information to pass on. However I do remember one time when you took me to see Misery. Do you remember that? At the end when she comes back you screamed so loud in the theater and that caused many other people Becky Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15168418069090318684noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12438054.post-20527403909760039842008-11-21T16:19:00.000-06:002008-11-21T16:19:00.000-06:00Well, Tammy, I can't speak for whether or not they...Well, Tammy, I can't speak for whether or not they are good, because I haven't read them. In fact, until today I hadn't heard of them...I just always heard people talking about Edward Cullen. I didn't know who he was!!! So, ironically today, I Googled him, and read up on the story line, and I have to admit I'm interested!!<BR/>AprilAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12438054.post-89470348748835537242008-11-20T21:41:00.000-06:002008-11-20T21:41:00.000-06:00I am with you on the allergy to scary movies!! I ...I am with you on the allergy to scary movies!! I HATE them!! I can't even watch movies that are suspenseful...for example I left about 30 minutes in to the DaVinci Code because it freaked me out too much...I'm a huge baby when it comes to stuff like that. So I will not be getting in to the Twilight books even though my dear friend M'chelle says they are wonderful!! ;D I just can't chance thoseHolly Packerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10830903078222841663noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12438054.post-88813408588977257512008-11-20T20:59:00.000-06:002008-11-20T20:59:00.000-06:00As Ashley has explained it to me, it is far more r...As Ashley has explained it to me, it is far more romance than vampire. The struggle/ romance comes from: his vampire nature wants to kill her/ take her blood, but he loves her too much to do it. He's evidently perfect, according to Ashley. Having my 12 year old think there is a perfect man out there, vampire or not, is the scariest part of it to me!Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02967745278090623772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12438054.post-91028832365600521982008-11-20T19:25:00.000-06:002008-11-20T19:25:00.000-06:00YES!!! These books are really good, and not really...YES!!! These books are really good, and not really scary at all. (or I didn't think so) I don't like vampires and certainly didn't think I would enjoy reading a book about them, but they are very light reading. If you decide you want to read the series, don't purchase them, you can borrow mine. But don't blame me if you hate them either! :)M'chellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03645489273740124265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12438054.post-83477686041683157152008-11-20T17:51:00.000-06:002008-11-20T17:51:00.000-06:00I keep hearing all about how good the book is too....I keep hearing all about how good the book is too. I'm in the middle of a Hemingway phase right now though. Love his narrative style. I keep thinking Ernest Hemingway sounds like he's blogging...ste-pha-niehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04781735100564958101noreply@blogger.com
