Tammy, I ran across this Tennyson poem and thought of you & Rob. "Perplexed in faith , but pure in deeds, At last he beat his music out. There lives more faith in honest doubt, Believe me, than in half the creeds.
He fought his doubts and gathered strength, He would not make his judgement blind, He faced the spectors of the mind And laid them; thus he came at length
To find a stronger faith his own, And Power with him in the night, Which makes the darkness and the light, and dwells not in the light alone,
But in the darkness and the cloud, As over Sinai's peaks of old, While Israel made their god of gold, Although the trumpet blew so loud."
This blog is so honest and I love that. You don't try to turn a blind eye to your pain, but face it head on. So brave!(And gathering strength daily- though it may feel like weakness- the Power of God in you.) We love y'all and are so blessed to call you our family. We will miss you terribly when we go back.HUGS! Love, Karise
