Christmas Candy Anyone?

Thursday morning.

As I have nothing at all new to say today...I know this is a rarity ; ) I want you to tell me what your favorite Christmas Candy or Cookie recipe is. I am in a nesting and cooking mood this season, not really in a shopping mood at all, which causes a bit of a problem and this must be rectified quickly, or my sweet kids will not be happy. I made some super delicious Toffee Squares a.k.a. Pine Bark last week with my daughter and they were super yummy. I want to make some more goodies so help me out and tell me what is deee-lish.

Hi Tammy...

I thought I'd come by and saw you asking about favorite candy or cookies for Christmas. Just the other day I did a Christmas Cookie Recipe Exchange on our blog...and I have some of my favorite recipes there. Several others joined in and there are links to their recipes, as well.

Here's a great website for Christmasy things including a great page with candy recipes. It is www.northpole.com . Then click on to kitchen at the top, then when the next page comes up, on the left side bar click on to holiday recipes. There are a lot of recipes that are very simple.

I've already had my fill of baking... I've done cream cheese-topped walnut brownies and Andes mint sugar drops this week and helped with Rolo pretzels and Symphony brownies. Someone bring on the Rotel and chips for a change...

I love fudge. I am going to make some breads though this week and hand out to the neighbors. Maybe even some cookies it depends on how much time I have.
