Volunteering then a Show for Lunch

Denise who never writes on her blog any more ; ) signed her family and my family up to volunteer at the Food Bank of Abilene today. After about an hour orientation we got to start sorting away. The kids had a great time and it was fun for us all. Here is a pic of all the kids after we were done working.


After volunteering we went to Bonzai for terriyaki chicken and a little sushi for lunch. It was Dee-Lish. Here is our chef making our food and Kenny looking on. Jack is reading a book, which made the chef laugh a bit, not too many kids bring a book along to read instead of watching the cooking show. Apparently Jack just needed to finish a chapter, then he watched the cooking.
