First Prayer Victory!!

Jack's MRI of his back this morning was clear! He had been having pain in his back, also, so there was a concern that there were spinal tumors, as well. There aren't. Still waiting word on a date and time for surgery!
John 16:23 "I tell you the truth, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."

Sarah,

Thanks for keeping this updated so frequently--I've never even met Jack but have been so prayerful about him and him family (especially mommy) today.

Still praying prayers of healing for him, and thanks for my own healthy babies at home.

Thank you , Sarah! News travels fast! Everyone I talked to today knows about Jack and is praying. I called my mom to ask their church to pray. My mom had a very large brain tumor pressing on her brain stem (and wrapped around her acoustic nerve) in 2001. She has had a few side effects from the surgery since then, but is doing very well and, Lord willing, has many more years left on this earth. My prayer is that Jack will do as well, if not better, than my mom has done. I know how scary this is, but God and the strong faith you have will help you through this. And, Tammy, on a personal note, pictures are the last thing on the list when it comes to things like this. We just used the digital camera at work. They won't be anything like you're beautiful work, but you need to focus all your attention on Jack - and anyone that would be upset about not having you there is crazy. Please, please, let us know if there's anything we can do to help. We are praying, praying, praying! Love, Shane, M.C., Morgan and Zach

Don't know if I figured this out but, I just want to say that you bring tears of joy to my eyes in a very emotional day. My God has given me his touch through you all, you are His face to me. Jack is doing well, me, Tammy, am holding my own, Rob and Elaine are keeping a vigil here and we are all in constant prayer for my Jack. His greatest concern is the big round patch on his chest from the mri is going to hurt when it is taken off. He said he thinks he will leave it on until he dies, I said I think it will fall off long before that...He also woke up this morning and said that he was so lucky that his hospital was so wonderful. I have taken pictures of him with the amazing caregivers that are by our sides, and especially his, joking and playing with him. He did tell me that when I talked to the doctor to tell her he was ready to go home and he didn't want surgery. Bless his heart for his sweetness. I love this ball of sunshine and I appreciate your prayers and outpouring of love for my family.

I just found out yesterday about Jack's surgery and have kept him in my prayers constantly. I had the privilege of having Jack and Sophie in my 2-year-old class at Southern Hills. Both of them are angels! I know God will take care of Jack and his family. No brain injury is fun, but through the power of God and His love, all will overcome.

Love,
